1. Scope of Services
Mangrum Agency agrees to act as your insurance broker. We will assess your risk profile, solicit insurance quotes from authorized carriers, present coverage options, and assist with policy administration and claims processing. The Agency does not act as an insurer and assumes no liability for claims denied by the insurance carrier.
2. Compensation & Fees
Our agency is compensated entirely through commissions paid by the insurance company. There is no charge to the client for services rendered
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during the application and renewal processes. Failure to disclose material facts or accurately represent your circumstances may result in policy voidance or denied claims by the insurance carrier. It is the client’s responsibility to review all policy documents, declarations, and endorsements immediately upon receipt.
4. No Binding Authority
All insurance coverage is subject to the review, underwriting guidelines, and final acceptance of the issuing insurance company. The Agency does not have the authority to bind, alter, or modify coverage unless expressly authorized in writing by the underwriter. Coverage is not effective until bound by the insurer.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
The Agency takes your privacy seriously. We collect, store, and share your personal and financial information solely for the purpose of securing and maintaining insurance coverage on your behalf. We will not sell or disclose your information to unrelated third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to perform our services. 6. Limitation of Liability
Mangrum Agency’s liability for any claims, errors, or omissions regarding your insurance placement shall be strictly limited to the total amount of commissions or fees earned by the Agency on your policy in the 12 months preceding the event. The Agency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of this agreement shall be settled through binding arbitration in Dallas County, Texas, rather than in court.
